A "Halo" for the PS3

Resistance is decent.

Killzone 2 possibly.

Haze possibly also.

Not sure if we'll see a 'Halo'-level title for the PS3 soon.

Killzone 2 looks impressive, but it'll have to improve off its predecessor by leaps and bounds.

Why when we have HAZE coming out next month !

Halo is stupid now. Killzone 2 is gonna be so much better.

Killzone 2 isn't, because its already a sequal. But I think Killzone2 is going to be an amazing game!

If you want a halo just get it for the 360. The PS3 doesn't need a Halo. Shooters wasn't what made the PS2 great. It had great action games, RPG's and a great mix of eveything else. This is more important then trying to find a Halo for the Ps3.

currently Resistance: fall of man is the ps3s halo like game. and to be honest i enjoyed it a lot...tho i have yet to take it online i would put the campaign on par with halo1s, which was one of the best IMO.

I really do not get what ps3 only owners mean by a halo for PS3.

Do you want gameplay like halo?

I'm assuming people want a game that garners equal or more critical and commercial success as halo.

And in all honesty i doubt Haze will even reach half of what halo 3 did, it's a new IP, halo had 3+ million fans waiting to buy it.

I do not think the killzone franchise has that many fans(i would consider fans to be people who bought the first game and really liked it) but if killzone 2 is marketed right and sony get the beautiful graphics all over with a good marketing campaign then it could do really well but i doubt it will reach the success of halo 3.

MGS4 is the game i think could and will reach a simlair success, the new camera and control methods make it much more accessible for those gamers that disliked the msg camera/control methods, personally i hated the camera i could work with the controls but i played subsistence recently and the new camera made it allot more fun to play.

MGS4 could be the game to match halo in terms of commercial and critical success, but again it may not, its a sneaking game and IMO the gameplay is better than halo i prefer mgs over halo but theres allot more people who prefer FPS.

The only game i would bet on matching halo's success is GTA4 a well known franchise, and GTA will more than likely surpass halo in sales due to increased install bases and its on two platforms.

Personally I think Warhawk kicks its ass for online play and Resistance for single player story :)

Actually resistance also kicks its ass for online as well.... just not as much as warhawk.

I hope the PS3 doesn't consider it self to have a Halo game because they are Stupid with everyone eventually Looking the same(Same Clothes and every one trying to get one Pacific weapon). I know the Player Game Creation is ment to be good but most poeple will just copy other poeples game style.sgallag_play

A Pacific weapon is a super weapon hidden at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean created by evil mermaids and sharks.
