Jeanne D'Arc is a Strategy RPG developed by Level 5 (The guys that made the Dark Cloud series and Rogue Galaxy). It is based on the story of Joan of Arc and is set in France during the 100 Years War. There is a fictional twist to the game that involves the English become possessed by demons and whatnot. Regardless, I downloaded the game off the the PSN (IGN Review 9.0 from my favorite edition Jeff Haynes prompted me to check the game out), and after spending a couple of hours with it, I definitely think it is a rock solid RPG.

Once again, if you're looking for great PSP games, and exclusives in particular, check out Jeanne d'Arc. I'll be sure to post a review of the game when I'm done playing it, but in the mean time, I wanted to spread word that this is a very underrated, underappreciated game. Definitely one of the top 5 PSP games available.

PSP Top 10 Software

1. God of War: Chains of Olympus

2. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

3. Jeanne d'Arc

4. Patapon

5. Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions

6. Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops

7. Tekken: Dark Resurrection

8. Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow

9. Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror (PSN)

10. Castlevania Symphony of the Night (PSN)

I was really interested in SRPG and started with Jeanne D'Arc. I'm so glad I did. It was a great game, play and graphics wise. I've moved onto FFT now. Anyone should pick up Jeanne D'arc.

Jeanne d'Arc is definitely a solid SRPG. It definitely belongs in the Top 10 games for the PSP for me, but i wouldnt say it made the cut for the power 5 spot.

The PSP is a great handheld for SRPG games. Currently playing Yggdra Union and enjoying it. Might just be hype since it's new, but we'll see.

And, yeah, Jeanne d'Arc is fantabulous, gameplay, graphics and fun factor, the game got it all...

Jeanne D'Arc was pretty fun when I owned it. It was my first SRPG. I no longer own it though because of the lack or replay value.

I've been considering this game for a while, and judging by your top 10, I'd have to say we have similar tastes, so I'll probably enjoy the game. I just wish I had more time to play through the PSP's huge list of great games...
