I'm a big fan of the Predator so I can see past the faults of this game. I enjoyed the campaigns for each species, though they were incredibly short. The multi-player is fun if you can get into a ranked match. But there's always player matches going on. I haven't regretted my purchase at all. But if you're simply an FPS fan I do say RENT this game. But if you're a fan of either the Alien or Predator Universe its a solid BUY.
I think the single player campaigns are trash. Too short, too simple and the Alien campaign was too easy.
The multiplayer part is great though, in my oppinion. But I have to be lucky to find a ranked match and even luckier to finish any matches. Somehow I get almost always connection errors. Don't know if that's only me or if it's a general problem.
I bought it, biggest regret I have on this gen of games. Crappy single player, lag is often, match making sucks. Online is good once you get a good match going, but it takes way to long for it to be worth it.
To be honest as much as I was excited for this game and as much as I love all the films I found this game pretty basic, I did have fun with the marine and alien story to to be honest I did not like the predators gameplay style it was a fresh and interesting concept but i just was not much into it,
what I think and same with other people it feels like a game made in 1999 with a fresh coat of paint,
It is rather intense at times, particularly the marine campaign. Online is enjoyable, but i would have something else to do while you wait to find a match.
You should definitely rent it (and even that is pushing it). I rented it beat the campaign in like 5 hours and online was total trash. Every time I played, the stupid matchmaking would start the match with only three or four players because it counted down after two joined. And no, its not a connection issue some of you are having, its the host quitting which happens 75% of the time. I couldn't even keep this the entire week when I rented it. However, if the online has been patched not to suck, than it may be worth a quick play...but nothing else...EVER! RAGE!!!!!!!

Rent it, its nothing like the first two games. If you are a die hard fan of Aliens or Predator it might appeal to you but I am a die hard fan and the game was a huge disappointment for me.
i LOVE both the alien and predator franchises which is probably the main reason i bought it however i look past all its flaws because of that.. to be honest i recommend you rent it because the campaign is really BLEH! and the online , though fun is a hassle to find a match , especially ranked matches. From the look of the trophies besides the 16k xp for ranked matches (hard to find) it seems like an easy plat to get to , ive already got like 59%
