About different region games..

Ok here's the deal... i know that the games on the ps3 are region free... but when i downlaod a demo on the american account i ussually play the games in black and white (which sucks). I believe if i had a hd tv this would correct this, but i got a sdtv. But there were 2 demos that i took from the us store that showed color... virtua tennis and dirt.

So i assume if i buy any of those 2 games imported, there wont be an issue.. anybody know if there is a way to know? And why do those game work fine? Is there any other way to get colour in those games? My blu-ray movie of casino royal also displays in b&w...

I take it you are hooked up via a standard definition method such as the SCART? If so then yes, the games would all play in black and white. You're also right in hooking up to a high def set via component or HDMi will take care of this.lyndonAPI

Yeah but 2 games didnt show up i black and white. Which i found very strange.

I live in a PAL region, with a PAL PS3, and I got Spiderman 3 Imported from the US and it diplayed in colour so I don't think there should be any problems.
