How much does Sony charge to repair a non-warranty ps3. Also, how bad can the condition be that they repair it? Will they repair anything?

And what is the whole repairing process look like? You contact Sony and then what happens. Do you have to give out info. Can I get the whole process, its important

thanks

should be 150.00, they do have the right to refuse any console that comes to them.just make sure it looks clean, and its not hacked up. you call customer service, you talk, they send a box via ups,(2-5days),you pack it and send it,you get it back in about two weeks.

So they can refuse repairing the console if they want? In what cases would they refuse to repair it? If a friend gave me his broken ps3 would they say anything like we arent going to let you repair it since you didnt buy it?
