i think its a great idea for resons said in the couple hundred posts, and also i think it's perfect for advertisements, demos, virtual shops.
Imagine you go to the EB games "home" to check out their newest games and to play some mini games, or you go to rockstars "home" to check out some new images for the new GTA, and ect Also it would be cool if other companies made sites to show of their products, like and ebay room, or EB games or something. i think this has TONS of potential, and i'm intrested to see what it will be like.
also think about clothing stores, you can go try on the clothes you want to buy in real life, with your sim:P

I just heard about it today and it looks awesome, it's gonna have great potential, this is just the kinda thing I'm looking for in my next-gen experience.

I think this is just what the ps3-ers was looking/asking/praying for. There was always complaints about the online capabilites, but with this addition, it seems that the ps3 is making a big move in the right direction.
i know i was gonna quote someone, but i'm new to forums. the only reason i made a thread was to talk about home.
I think it will be amazing, I DJ and I think that it would be great to stream new mixes for friends, for labels, and others. it would also be crazy to go to record stores and buy cd's:P. i would love the idea of watching movies, like new bluray releases. i think the possibilities are endless. YAY for sony.

Ah you're right, I do care lol. It's weird that you saw me write that somewhere else because this is the first topic I've posted in about 'home' it must have been a different freer, either that or I have split personalities....
