Hi all, I just wanna ask some question about ps3 resolution i played GTA4 and in its back case its written 1080p but when i played that game my TV changes to 720P and when in XMB menu its 1080p My TV is panasonic viera i dont know what year it is(becoz when i bought a house they gave that TV)..the size is about 50inch+ PS: my PS3 is Asian version i think coz i bought it at Indonesia also the GTA4 is region code 3 but my ps3 still can play australian games coz i bought assassin creed in here in it run well and also question for guitar hero i bought the house and i get a guitar hero game and with its guitar but i dont get the wireless receiver for the guitar and i just wanna ask something if i bought i new guitar and get a new wireless does that wireless can be use with 2 guitar? THX before please answer my question
Just run the game in 720p. The graphics are crap for the game anyways. The only game I've ever run in 1080p was MGS4. It's up to you though. It won't make a huge difference. If you want a good open world game you should grab inFAMOUS

GTA runs at 640p it justs supports 1080 thats why the xbox verison is superior.Javieralijandro
PS3 version is superior. Xbox version just has some exclusive DLC. what a fanboy here. Nearly every review site agrees the PS3 version is better.
As for TC. Just go to your display settings and uncheck 720p. This is not recommended though as some games don't support 1080p and even on the games that do, they usually look a little worse.

Metal gear isnt even HD as well its subed-HD. Neither is halo, fanboy. actually I think halo is the worst offender this gen so far.

Wow lol I think this is getting off topic. Don't even bother changing your settings and just run it in 720p. Leave them all checked and the game will run in its native resolution and will probably look best that way anyways. P.S. To the person who made the comment on MGS4 being sub-HD, I don't care if it was, compare that to GTA4 and one sure did a hell of a lot better than the other. You have got to be kidding me taking time out of your day to make a comment on MGS4's graphics.

I know its off topic but can i just say that I have GTA4 on both systems and it runs soo much smoother on my ps3 than it does on my 360. From loads times to terrible pop in, the ps3 version is better. I must say that may be due to the install though.

No, each guitar needs its own wireless dongle plugged into the PS3.
