about the ps3 important

so im finally gettin the ps3 but i need some question to be answer by ps3 owner. any info will be usefull.

1 I heared that the new ps3 in the market the 160 gb ones are not backward compatible is that true?

2 do the 160 gb playstation come with a built in vibrating controller or do i need to buy the vibrating controller separatly?

3 I saw a silver colored ps3 i really like it more than the black one, are there more colors for the ps3 console and are there cases to change the appereance of the ps3?

the first question is the most important one since i still play with my ps2 till today and if the new ps3 model cant play ps2 games i will buy an older model than can.

You may have to void (break) your warranty if you want to remove the case to change color. bonus 4. the "best' ps3 to play old ps2 games is the 1st one *60 gb model. Well yes they do play PS1 games, but he wasn't asking that .. and your second answer can be confusing ..

1 the new 80 Gb and 160 Gb dont have compatibility with PS2 games, all PS· model play PSone games.

2 yes the 160 Gb PS3 comeswith a DualShock3 controler, wich is the vibrating one (check the contents in the box)

3 the silver one was sold only in japan and for the moment there are no cases. my best advise for you is to get an old PS3 60Gb (as it is compatible with PS2 games and PSOne) and then get a better HD (350GB)

i dont really care anymore for ps1 games i will probable get the 60 gb version to play my ps2 games.

hd 350 gb whats that, u can update ur harddrive to 350 thats good to know cause i love downloading lots of arcade games:D

anyways i have an hd tv but doesnt the hd cable comes with the ps3? or u buy the hdmi separatly?

You have to buy them seperately .. newegg has them for like five bucks ..

1. no backwards compatability 4 the new systems, just keep the ps2 incase u wanna play ps2 games.

2. all ps3s come with dualshock controllers so dont worry bout that.

3. not so sure about color u may have 2 import.

more questions i want to ask since there is no regional lock on ps3 i can order a silver ps3 from japan and i can simply play all north american games without a problem and can play online too?

also will the menu be in japanese? if so can i change it to english?

i really want the silver case i am tired of black colored consoles my 360 and ps2 are black including my hdtv .
