You can't do that either. I thought the same thing once I finished it on normal, but the rewards you purchase are only available for difficulty levels you've already completed normally.lol just wanted to know. + i can just run through the game with infinite nade launcher and get the job done pretty easily

You can, but I got it on Normal. Same with Steel Fist Expert. I'm only the Crushing trophy away from having a Platinum (already Platted the first game a while ago). :D
Almost done with the hard trophy.
And about how long does it take to get 200 kills with the GAU-19?

Pick a chapter with a lot of guys and keep restarting it. Didn't take me long at all (and I didn't touch the GAU-19 at ALL in game). I did Desperate Times (Chapter 6). Just stealth the one guy to the right of the truck, then the RPG guy, jump down, and equip the GAU-19 (I'm assuming you've purchased the gun in the single player). Then just go to town. Make sure to pause and restart the checkpoint though before you get past the point of no return. Rinse and repeat till you get the trophy.;)
Another question if i play through the game on crushing mode and complete it will i get the hard trophy like i did when i played through on normal and got the easy trophy too?

I thought crushing was only unlocked via Hard?
Anyway yes you should. I unlocked normal from completing hard.
Also, confirmed from PS3T you can just use chapter select.
You have to beat the game on hard difficulty first in order to unlock crushing difficulty, and youhave to beat the game on crushing before you can use one shot kills and infinite ammo. I tried using those cheats on crushing and it said I had to finish the game on the current difficulty (I was playing on crushing). I ended up beating the game with no cheats. You can change skins though.I beat the game on the regular mode. I can now buy any tweaks. If I activate any, will the work in Hard? What about other purchases, like clothes and guns?[QUOTE="zouhou"]
buy the game tweaks one shot kills for every enemy and infinite ammo go to the store in the main menue buy them bolth u can only use them after beating the game on hard though

[QUOTE="Amster_G"]You could in the first game, I know that much for sure, because I did it:PI heard that you can play through Hard with cheats on and still get a trophy?

Hmm, that doesn't sound right. In my experience Naughty Dog specifically designed it so that you couldn't just beat it on Normal, unlock cheats, and beat the other modes. What would be the point in that? the point in making them Gold trophies is because they're harder to get. Where would the reward be in beating them with things that made the game way easier?
Besides, it's already been somewhat noted that this game is a bit easier overall than the first Uncharted. I Platted that game (albeit with some frustrating spots on Crushing) and thus far I've yet to have any of those. Granted, I'm only on Chapter 7 (and I fear those last few chapters) but overall, thus far, I can say that Crushing on Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was harder.
I think it has more to do with the amount of bullets it takes to down an enemy in this game (about 4 regular pistol shots to the body or 1 headshot for regular armored guys) versus the first game where enemies seemed more persistent and took more damage. You might take as much damage from shots in this game as in the first one, but the bad guys take the same as you to kill now...not more.
completed the game on crushing mode --- got all the medals and treasures but still did not get the platinum. I did get the gold trophy and some cash to spend but still no platinum. Started a new game on crushing and played through again but still nothing. I'm sure I'm missing something but I don't know what. could use some help. any ideas???? thnx to all..... quintet11
