Worse things are:

Enemies can get repetitive
Shooting can get repetitve
Not as much platforming as some would like.
A bit short

Minor set backs:

No multi-player
No online
A bit like Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones.
Plot is a hit or miss.

Good things:

Trophy support
Top-notch graphics
good story-telling and dialogue
Like-able characters
Replay-value
challenging

This is my favorite game for the PS3 so I don't mind all the bad things.

I thought i rushed through it the first time. But with trophies I am having alot more fun, I just noticed you get unlockable costumes lol. I got 24% of trophies. I wish Ratchet and Clank had trophies I would gladly go and Hunt everything down on that game, but insomniac already said they aren't currently adding trophies. I hope after R2 is released.

There's also a possibilty that Heavenly Sword gets some trophies.

its an awesome game. gameplay is a mix of third-person-shooter and platforming. plus the likeable characters, cool settings and perfect audio.

It is a very good game. You probably won't find many things here that you can't find on other games, but nonetheless, it's a great game. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. There's very little times where you feel bored of the game. It also has a strong story. Plus there's trophies for it now, which gave me a reason to run through it again.Lyphe2k

People tend to compare it with Tomb Raider, but its actually more like God of War with Guns. The puzzles are only a side thing as in GoW to lessen the heavy action moments in the game.

The enemy designs can get repetitive, but if someone can name a game where it doesnt and its not RPG then we can all agree that this is no biggie.

There is no online features at all, which may piss some folks.

The game looks fantastic, and sounds fantastic. It fixes the glitches that Gears of War has regarding enemy AI and cover. Gunplay is really good, though its quite hard to get the hang on, until you realise that the guns have recoil, especially the heavy duty ones.

Voice acting, animations and graphics are amazing. The story is a hit or miss. If you liked the Indiana Jones movies, then you will most likely love this, as the main character has the same spirit as does the story.

Its short, though it depends on the difficulty. I never tried normal, but in hard it took me between 10-12 hours without counting the respawns after deaths during my first play through.

Very good game.
And im enjoying the trophies :D

first off good game, Im enjoying it again, dont own it just borrowing it. secondly for this guy, This isnt very good advice, sometimes this helps, after you read the review before dropping the money it is good to hear what ppl have to say kind of short and sweet.

Well I literally just got this game, last night.

Although its pretty good, I can't help but feel a little disappointed. Maybe I allowed other peoples love for this game build up my expectations unfairly. Its just not as good as I though it would be, no Gears of War, thats for sure.

However, there are a few games that I have gladly paid full price for them – MGS4, Fifa 08(Actually, I should have bought this one used), GTAIV, and Uncharted. Uncharted was definitely worth it. Nevertheless, if you feel that you don't want to pay full price for it, just buy it used; The it will be totally worth it!!!

Is the game as good as most PS3 owners say it is. I basicaly want to buy the game to get the trophies and to enjoy it. But I'm still a little unsure though. What are the best and worst things about this game?bigmouthkid
