adding songs to your ps3 using a mp3 player!!!!

i need help addign song to my ps3 using a mp3 player.  i connect it to the ps3 and it shows the usb device icon, but when i click it it doesnt show any songs. so i press triangle and display all and still doesnt work. what can i do if any one knows how to do this.

That's may mean .... The player converts all the songs on mp3 palyer while it is in the player . and then reconvert them while in PC ?? :? ...... maybe :)

Hope the next up-date will solve all of the mistakes :)

What are you using for one thing?

 

If it's an iPod or any regulated device that only plays a certain type of file, or it's got DRM junk all over it, then it won't work.

 

 

I've got an RCA Lyra MP3 player, and I dump regular MP3 files on it, it works just fine.

Or, if you have all your songs on a PC, and if you have a flash drive or memory card, put the files on either one and transfer them that way.

i have a sansa m240, i dont use the pc and save it to a flash drive because my downloading sowftware doesnt work. so what can i do!!!??

NO idea sry :( My son has a Samsung mp3 player (4GB) and the PS3 only recognises the folders but shows no songs :(

I didn't think that u could transfer from usb drive to PS3?

I got a Samsung MP3 player and am having issues getting the PS3 to recognize it as well. I was planning on dumping all the music onto the same 2GB flash memory card that I use for my PSP and getting them onto my PS3 that way.
