after beating mgs4...

when you unlock the few weapons and items you get for beating mgs4 how do you use them? i beat the game on boss hard and am trying the new harder difficulty however i cannot figure out how to bring over the weapons and items i unlocked? can someone explain to me what i need to do? or can you not bring over the weapons and items you obtained in a higher difficulty level?

To be ore specific, it's more so the thing you owned in previous playthroughs. For example, if you unlocked, but did not own, the solar gun, you will still need to buy it. If you unlocked and bought it previously, once you get the MKII, it will also give you all your stuff back from the previous playthrough (grenade launcher, camo mask (and it's subsequent, extra, mask styles like Raiden), etc.)

what is the solar gun is that the rail gun? i must not of got the solar gun where do you unlock it at? also what do you mean the only way to get it is with the dolls i know what the dolls are but what do u use them for to get the solar gun?

also does this mean at drebins shop the race gun and the camo i unlocked after beating the game will be avail for free?

I believe the race gun is a gun similar to Ocelot's original gun in MGS3. You use to ricochet bullets off walls and such.

I think konami released codes in the extra menu for the race gun and a few other stuff like the altair costume and the patriot.

The only way u can get solar gun is by defeating all the bosses in a non-lethal way, and tht includes all the frogs u meet in the manson in act 1, then wen u beat the game, when its showing ur stats, it'll say tht u unlocked the solar gun, and it will tell u tht u will be able to use it after u reach MKII... simple!

i got it and it is the most useful thing ever in the whole game!

infinite bullets... not very precise... so ur in risk of hitting other things as the ball of sunlight hurls at ur enemies.. but very accurate for the same reason since ifu have a clear shot...its impossible to miss...

this weapon is essential for bigboss emblem...
