I want this game yesterday. From what I've seen the visuals look great. Even if they were worse than what I've already witnessed MGS4 will still be the Courgars' Taint.
to tell you the truth, i dont give a crap about the graphix, they could be graphix like mgs1 for all i care, i love mgs, and thts what will make me buy it, the GAMEPLAY!
The graphics: You thought Gears of War looked amazing? Think again. Metal Gear Solid 4 will blow you away with its ultra-detailed characters and intricate environments, painting some of the most gorgeous graphics seen this side of Crysis. In motion, the graphics look so realistic that your eyes begin to register the visuals as a movie rather than a game. From what we saw, MGS4 puts its 50GB Blu-ray disc to outstanding use.
I know MGS is all about gameplay & story and not graphics, but sense a lot of you are disagreeing with me i can take it as that the graphics haven't changed that much
If it looked like a PS2 game i would still buy it, but beside the point the graphics look stellar and the cutscenes is where they really shine. Go to Gametrailer.com and check out some of the cutscenes in HD and you'll see what i mean, the one with the Frogs.
Hell no, the graphics are great. Why in the hell would they need to improve this? Graphics are not everything. Granted, I was blown away by the first few games I played on my HD set with my PS3 and 360. I still am, but it doesn't make the game great. I've discovered so many old PS2 games that I missed and I'm greatly enjoying them. A great game is a great game, regardless of time or graphics. It's all about the gameplay.
