pheew, Maybe its just temporary, but anyways. my ps3 background has always had a very bright pink colour (only gort it for 3-4 weeks or something) not so pretty any way, but today it became worse!!!!! when the ps3 opened the XMB it was greenish/brownish... i mean it looked like **#"%¤"!! ... reminds me of when i mixed grass and mud as a kid.. at first i thought it was something wrong with the system( i mean how can sony make such a background?) but my pictures was normal.
ANyone got this ugly background colour?! or is my system faulty (i doubt it, though i dont think that someone would really like this colour). is there a way to make it switch faster?

Yeah it's like the color of your vehicle. does it really effect the way it preforms under the hood?  People tend to nit-pick on these forums over the dumbest little thing.

I do care because im a artist and a designer myself.. and i have the right to care about something i've bought. No it does not change my gaming experiance and im not bashing the system because i love it. though i think this forum should be open to all sorts of discussions,, and i wanted to discuss the background colour because i didnt like it. The ps3 is a pretty machine and has a cool interface so the point of this thread was why the colour was so bad, not for bashing the system!
And im aware of that sony will enable "background settings" in future updates.
