All FPS campaigns are HORRIBLE!

Am i the only one that things FPS campaigns are horrible?

Killzone 2 - lame until you got to the last stage to fight radec ( or rico )

Call of duty 4 - lame

Call of duty world at war - lame until the last cut scene with reznov

Bioshock ( just awesome )

Killzone was ehh ( god why isnt rico dead )

Bad company ( for its humor )

I'm totally the opposite of you. I love FPS campaigns, and I think they offer some of the most compelling gameplay in video games today. It's unfortunate that FPS's are going away from the single-player experience to a more multiplayer based focus.

Not all FPS campaigns suck.

• Rainbow Six Vegas/Vegas 2
• F.E.A.R
• Bioshock
• Half-Life Series
• Doom 3
• Bad Company
• Call of duty 2-4(Never played 5)

There are more. Yes FPS games don't have epic RPG like campaigns but there are some really good ones out there.

I don't think those games were "lame," but I do agree that some were a bit disappointing. World at War and Killzone 2 in particular.masterpinky2000

Far Cry 2 had a decent campaign.. and Resistance 1 and 2 Though i know people thought the 2nd one sucked THE BOSS FIGHTS WERE AMAZING

Crazy talk. I can't mention a lot of games FPS/TPS cuz we're on the PS3 board but what did you have against COD4 campaign? I thought it was great, Bioshock as well. Granted mostly I play shooters for the online but I'lldo thecampaign first to get used to the feel of the game, but some just keep you playing. Co-op definately helps but I like (good) campaign mode. So, TC did you do UC2 campaign or just play MP? Crazy talk.

Yes....you're the only one that THINKS, (not things) that those campaigns are horrible. ;)

Both COD4 and WaW are amazing, top notch.

Killzone 2 campaign is great also, harder than COD4. And please don't bring the PC mention or comparison here...use system wars for that.

It seems you don't like FPSs to begin with. As for me i have enjoyed a lot of game from this genre, Killzone being my most recent most enjoyed FPS game.

R:FoM had a really cool campaign mode and when played split screen was even better. Also, I've played the COD4 campaign around 4 times. I liked it. It left a little to be desired but its short enough and has some level diversity so that it doesn't get monotonous. Also, not really an FPS but still a shooter, Army of Two was pretty cool, played that a couple of times, again simply very fun when played with a human partner. And not the best game, but Quantum of Solace had a decent campaign. I definitely wouldn't say it sucked. The weakest of the ones I mentioned, but still.

I've never played the COD4 or CODWAW campaigns but i really liked the KZ2 one the first time through. Second was average.

But there not as bad as your making it seem, in my opinion.
Timesplitters was good though but that was a sort of different gameplay type i thought, cause you had time powers and stuff.

I remember i fell in love with 1 of the timesplitters.

Theres nothing wrong with him.

I like the campaign from both Resistance: Fall of Man (despite the dry storytelling) and Resistance 2 (despite a severe lack of depth in the story).

me too; it was short, but sweet.

but i must say that i share TC's sentiments toward all the FPS campaigns that he mentioned.

they were ok, but nothing that should be played more than once.

I agree with you about KZ2. I've only done two levels of the Campaign whereas I've played 14 hours of Multiplayer. I liked the COD4 campaign though but World at War wasn't so good.

COD4 has one of the most well executed cinematic campaigns ever. W@W sucked. KZ2 was fun but story and dialogue were bad. (screw opinion, they need new talent as far as writers go) Lets be honest if your not into competitive MP nowadays "Your playing the wrong genre."YoungSinatra25

Look im sorry but if anybody out there on this entire planet truely thinks Cod4 had a bad story, they need to stop playing FPS because Cod4 had a very well written and well executed story.

Did call of duty have too much drama in it for you? That MW campaign was one of the best FPS campaigns to come out in quite some time.

I will admit I barley play FPS but 90% (if not more) of those I play have sucky story and I have chosen long time ago to give up to expekt a good story in them (exept a few ofc^^)
