All-Pro Football 2K8

it looks lame. i hate the player models, it looks like madden 2002 on PS2. the linemen look like they are mentally slow and eat about once a day. if you cant tell, i think im going to hate this game. this is just my extremely biased opinion and even though im obviously a big fan of madden; i can definitely agree with the fact that madden has gotten stale and just thinks that pretty graphics can substitute for gameplay. The linemen should look smaller just for the fact the linemen that they have in there werent all that big. But as much as i would love to play with some of the legends, i wouldnt find it fun playing with them on generic teams. The coolest part of the game though i think are some of the stadium designs.

I'll buy whichever game has the best gameplay. I cou;dn't care less about anything else really. Madden has been butt since 2005, and nextgen Madden has been a total joke and a complete ripoff.needlesmcgirk

if you're buying off gameplay, Madden is boasting a tons of additions (no doubt due to the fact that there is a direct competitor with a great idea now).

The only 2k football game I had was College Football 2k3 and thought it was horrible. The year after I got Madden and haven't looked back since. I do agree that nex-gen Madden so far has sucked big time though. I still play it 2007 on PS2. lol

If Madden has the same Framerate issues as 07 i will never buy another Madden, im done, Hopefully EA steps it up, and im praying NCAA 08 doesnt have framerate issues.

I'll be buying this game for sure. I've always felt that the 2K brand of football was superior to Madden, which I find to be way too arcadey.

Hopefully, the game sells well enough to warrant a sequel. I say not that only because I love the 2K Sports brand, but also because the Madden series will HAVE to step up its game...which it hasn't needed to for 2 years now (and look what came out as a result...garbage).

I think I remembered them saying that it would run smooth at 60fps. I think it was IGN that I saw it.

I am a Madden fanatic I'll admit right away, but after madden 07 on ps3 ( i also have it on ps2 which was very good) the ps3 version did suffer a great number of flaws.. ie terrible framerate, lack of modes, controls, etc.. buth the graphics were still very good. All pro does look cheesy, and who wants fake teams and old players?? I also heard that madden 08 was a cool 60 fps which is pretty damn smooth..... i guess we will wait and see huh boys go pack go
