Although UT3 is great, I still wish we cld get Gears2.

This is probably the only game that M$ has that I'd like to see come over to the PS3. Oh well, I guess UT3 will have to do for now. What's your thoughts?

If I'm interested in games that are not on the console I have I buy the console the game is on if I had the money( which most likely I will get another gen console I only have the PS3 at the moment).

I'm actually frustrated on the lack of RPG on the PS3 and Lost Odyssey seems to be quite interesting.That I might buy but I don't buy consoles for one game and Gears is not my type of game.

UT3 kicks ass tho so I'm not too bummed out by it.

I just want Castle Crashers, A 2D side scroller like those Simpsons/Xmen/Ninja Turtles Arcade games. Simply awesome.

i heard that Ps3 will probably get gears 3 if they come out with it because M$ had a deal with the ppl who made gear for 2 games so if they make a third they will probably make it for both systems

M$ probably needs to start considering the fact that the 360 isn't selling like a hotcake anymore, and that PS3 is catching up to it's unit sales (11M vs 17M) and that they will make more money by selling their exclusives to the PS3 crowd as opposed to somehow expect a single game drive the sales any further. I mean I can't think of any game that will make me want to buy a 360 at this stage in the console "war". Halo is crap and that's the only real exclusive that was big on the 360 except Gears of War. GOW was cool I played it on the PC but in no way would I buy an entire console just for that. There's some games I wouldn't mind playing like Forza 2 but in no way would I get a 360 for them, and I would only want Forza 2 just to hold me over till Gran Turismo 5 comes out which will undoubtedly be better. Either way I think at this point M$ has such few good exclusives that they won't really encourage anyone to buy their system. And that they would make more money simply from the sales of those exclusives to hit the PS3 crowd than to attempt to push more 360 sales with those exclusives.

Thats why i bought both. I have my 120 gig PS3 and my 360 Elite just for that reason, plus Madden is best on 360.

That's another thing that gets me about the 360. They use the term 'exclusive' but it always seems like their 'exclusives' always get ported to PC.

Hats off to them for getting one game that some PS3 owners like, but it's not like the PS3 doesn't have great exclusives coming out as well, just as 360 owners would like to be able to play more of the PS3 exclusives on their platform as well.

Why would they trade if they can get them for free? GeOW2, Fable2 are all tied to Microsoft but game slike dmc4 and FF13 arent tied to Sony.

Gears of War is the only reason I have an Xbox 360.

Great game, great multiplayer.

When I finished the single player, I was like "damn, now that was a game." I subsequently spent the next 6 months playing the multiplayer and had a blast the whole time.

Gears is to my college experience what Goldeneye was to my middle school experience.

playing ut3 now.. it basicly has no single player.. it's a pure multi player with a tutorial.

i like the gears single player and it's logical you would like it. it's great.

Fair enough, we can go this direction if you want. I never stated in my first post that those games will be better than Gears 2 nor did I say they will be out before Gears 2. I was stating to the TC (who was originally upset that Gears 2 wasn't coming to the PS3), that we'll have plenty of shooter type games (notice how in my first post was all shooters...like Gears 2), AROUND THE SAME TIME Gears 2 comes out. All the games I posted are "TBA for 2008", which in the long run means they'll be coming out for the 08 holiday season. And also I stated to the TC, that with these other games, we'll have plenty of shooters, hence why I said we'll manage without Gears 2.

If you wanna continue this silly debate, then please post your great 360 games so I can shoot it down. Other than that, I'm ending this discussion. Peace!

Go buy a 360 like I did and enjoy both worlds, but GEOW isnt the game PS3 owners should want its Bioshock it is my favorite game on the 360 to date.

You must be missing the whole point he wasn't saying all those games combined beat GEOW2 he was saying by the time GEOW2 comes out all those games will be out and no PS3 owner will even care about GEOW2. For your information and this is coming from someone who owns both consoles MGS4 will obliterate GEOW2 and I've beaten GEOW twice and on co-op.

I personally feel that the PS3 version of Rainbow Six Vegas is horrific.

i played it on 360 and loved it. when a friend of mine bought a PS3 i recommended R6V to him and bought a copy for my self second hand to play with him in co-op.... i was sorry i recommended it to him... bad port... i hope the second one will be just as good as the 360 version (although i think i'll buy the 360 version just to be safe..).
