I got a motorolla 500. This is my first bluetooth headset ever so I don't know jack, sorry ..

The PS3 scanned, it picked it up and did the whole configuiring. Then I put in the code. And then it worked. The console now says Motorolla under bluetooth headset.

Then I went to the voice changing screen, because from there you can see if any sound is going through. I said hello and it definitely picked up a lot of voice.

Step number 3 .. play some games .. I played Warhawk. I entered three servers and nobody was responding to anything I was saying. So I stopped playing that and went back to the voice changing screen in the XMB. And it showed voice was coming through. Hm. So I tried the Burnout demo, because right next to your name, it has a voice indicator thing. And nothing. Everything I was saying wasn't coming through.

I don't even exactly know when the headset is on .. is it when it's blinking or .. when the blue light is on completely ? Or when it's blinking two times fast .. I don't know !

Any help would be much appreciated

THANKS

The light should blink but not be constantly on I believe. That's how mine works that came with Warhawk.

Once you have it scanned and set up in your XMB you should be able to turn it on before and during a game and have it work perfectly.

I did a test while playing COD4 because I had to reset mine, and asked if anyone could hear me and no one responded but it was working. Sometimes people with mics don't respond or people don't have mics and can't respond.

If you can, enter a chat with a buddy on your friends list and ask them if it's working and how it sounds etc...

Okay thanks.

Wait, does Warhawk require a button to be pushed when you speak .. 'cause I wasn't pushing anything .. also .. it's annoying how I can't tell what the volume is at .. both the other buttons on my headset just have this arrow key going up .. so I don't know what's putting the volume all the way down or not ..

AH !

when you enter the game the connection is stopped, once in the game just press the ON/OFF button once and it will reconnect

like answering a call if it was connected to a cell
