2K is taking a beating this year. They were kicking EAs ass for years in all the major sports, but now EA is back on top.

BBall games in general have been crap for years though. It's like they don't even want you to defend. The last awesome BBall game was the first NBA Street or whatever it was called, for PS2. The first one with gamebreakers.

The control scheme is the same as other 2k games. To do a crossover hold in R2 and move the left analog stick from where the ball is to where you want it to be. Play around with this to find the different dribble moves. Another good one is when you're standing dribbling just tap R2 or L2 and you'll do a "size-up" move. Hard to explain so just try it and see what I'm talking about.

As far as the no commentary, its a freakin demo. It's obvious that there will be commentary in the final product.

How can you be disappointed with 2k8 demo?

It was amazing. Beyond amazing. The tight controls, the balance between offense and defense, incredible A.I, realistic pacing, etc etc etc.

It improved over 2k7 beyond belief. 2k8 is just in whole different level compared to other basketball game coming out.

If you know anything about basketball, you can't help but to appreciate what 2k8 brings.

When I saw the download was only 287 MB I knew it would suck for lack of content, like the color commentary. Most demos are close to 1 GB.
