I was wondering why is there no progress on RSV? I have been checking dates since February 20 of this year. Now on gamespot they say that it will be realeased on May 24, but on gamepro it says mid-june. What the hell is it? I am totally upset at this. Really, am I the only one waiting for this game? I sold my Xbox and six games for the ps3 and one game. I am just hoping that I will not regret this as there are not a lot of games that pique my interest at all. I have RFOM, Fight Night 3, Madden 07, MotoStorm, NBA 2k7, Armored Core 4, and God of War 2. I am through with all these games and I need something else....not Oblivion!!!!!!!
heh its probably going to be just another watered down port cuz these devs are freaking too lazy to actually learn how to make a good game on the ps3..
im sticking to exclusives this time around probably.Â
I've been waiting since it was announced for a December 17th 2006 release date lol, with that being said and the number of awful ports from ubisoft along with delay after delay I will definitely rent first now or wait for a review, the pc version of R6V only got a 7.5 from 1up.
So true brotha.... I am also waiting for Rainbow Six Vegas as well... other than F.E.A.R. which will be in stores April 24, theres not really many shooters out there for the PS3 until the summer....
May is the supposed date for the port, and I am looking forward to it, I loved it on the 360, but never completed it, so I'll be looking forward to doing so on the PS3
I heard from a friend at EB (I know, I know.) he said that the game is actually going to look good, cleaner in fact. Not to put wind in your sails but this might be the first good port from Ubi. I played RV6 at my cousins and it looked good and played well too but in recent screens I've seen (again I know) look better in the draw distances and textures. I'm actually anticipating this game and I hope it's not Rainbow Cell Double Vegas... :?
Well I am hoping that the reason they keep delaying it is because they are taking the time to make it actually good. But that could be to much to ask for.
I have also wanted it since I got my ps3 in November. I am beggining to lose intrest...
Hell yeah i cant wait. It actually might replace resistance as my most played online game. It would be nice if they could make the onlines graphics look a bit better, the online graphics on the 360 version look not so good, but its still super fun. If they dont get this right ill be mad, but ill just buy it for computer than.
You're not alone... I am also waiting for that game. Delay after delay and after the Splinter Cell effort, I am not really looking forward to the game. I think it will be another bad port from Ubi Soft. Hopefully, they are using this time to polish the game up and not just waiting for the number of ps3 to increase before releasing this game.

I was looking forward to it.....back when it was supposed to come out at the PS3's launch.
But given the fact that it keeps getting delayed, we haven't seen a single screen or second of gameplay, and Ubisoft's two current PS3 games are just plain lo in quality, I'm really not expecting much, anymore.
Tell you what, ill start buying multiplatformers when the ps3 versions are equal or better than the 360 version. I bought Oblivion because its a great game and is better on ps3 than on anything else. So, untill the lazy devs are ready to respect the ps3 more and actually take advantage of ps3's powers, im gonna buy first and second party games ONLY. Lair, warhawk, heavenly sword, etc.
