Am I the only one who wants to call it PSP2?

I still think it's the most appropriate and best-sounding name for it. Also considering the main draw for me is that it's the first handheld to feature two analog sticks. Is anyone else a fan of this over Vita and NGP? (I do like NGP too though; Vita sounds too.. desperate.)

LOL DOLPHIN!!!1ONE!! Couldn't help it. I don't see what's so unappealing about PSP2. It would make for a good logo too. It would also look the best below the screen compared to seeing NGP or Vita. Oh well; I'm buying it either way. So excited!

I don't really like PSP2, but it easily beats Vita.

I'd like it to be called PSP2 as well.

I actually go around the boards around five times before someone replies to me.. It's sad; I'm so bored, and school's in a week.

I honestly haven't looked into any info on the "psp 2" lately but if NGP stands for something stupid like Next Gen Portable, Id rather it be called Vita or PSP2. SLUSHiNaToR

How can you guys say it's not been confirmed when there's solid, concrete proof that sony is calling it the PSVita, developers are also calling the PSVita, everyone who has worked with the system is calling it the PSVita.

I want to call it the PSP 4000.

I don't have that many games to be able to represent myself well on the PS3 forums.. Plus I love seeing updates on specific games so I go to their respective boards. :P

Well, looks like Sony trademarked Vita. Time to move on and accept the name for its good side, eh? Gooo PSV!

I totally agree. PSV sounds stupid, and it's even worse when you hear someone say Vita. PSP2 just sounds right and it's so simplistic. It's the second PSP. PSP2. Makes sense.

I call it PSP2 every now and then but not really. I like PSVita. It might just need to grow on you, give it some time. There are plenty of names they could of used that probably would of been terrible and embarassing to say haha ;)

i think they saw how if they call a gimmick a small quirky name like "wii" it will sell.

i mean if you imitate hardware you might as well imitate the name..

It would have been nice if Sony called PSVita (Playstation portable 2) But that didn't happen although the PSVita is the Playstation portable Version 2. PSV
