No one ever talks about this game. It looks beautiful though... Definitely one of my most anticipated titles of the year (probably second most, right after LittleBigPlanet).

It doesn't half look striking but I dunno whether I'm that grabbed-I reckon I need to see some real gameplay before i'm even convinced the graphics will work properly.
I think you can ignore the old PoP games though as this looks totally different and seems more about co-op for starters and is, yet again, a complete reboot for the franchise and there'll be no time travel abilities.
Hey, I'm excited for it! Although, I would agree, they don't seem to be talking much about it. It seems like it will be a very discrete release that when you go to the store one day you see it and say "Hey! I remember seeing this game on the internet!" Definately on my list.
Little Big Planet is a must buy and is higher on my list than this game though...

I don't think it's co-op. The other character follows you around and helps you with certain techniques, but she's not not playable - it's still a single-player game.
Oh, and there are videos of gameplay available: http://media.ps3.ign.com/media/890/890665/vids_1.html

Yeah, it does seem that way - whcih is strange, given how Ubisoft usually likes to hype their games.
Yeah no one talks about prince of persia, which is a shame because it's talking the PoP series to a new direction which other games are afraid to do.
One more thing. Am I the only one who likes the new graphic style?

I must say that I'm not too excited about that new graphic style. There is a game called Afro Samurai that uses the same graphics. Seems too artificial to me sorry.

I LOVE the new art style.
I was never into that series, and the story looks like an Okami ripoff... But the graphics are nice, and the videos looks interesting.
I might give it a chance.

Okami came out WAY after Prince of Persia, and i dont mean the ones in the 80's.
This new prince looks amazing. I've played every PoP up until now and this looks like a wonderful new approach to the series. There is a trailer with nothing but gameplay on the PS Store you all should check out. I can't wait =)
I think everyone's number one game right now is LBP tho lol
The one that came out ages ago that was the 2D side-scrolling one: EPIC
The first one on the PS2: AWESOME
The second one: PRETTY GOOD
the third one: MEH....
new one doesn't look great to me........
This has been high on my list since June. I left the Sands of Time for ages after I got it, then picked it up and I fell in love with the game. I moved on to Warrior Within and I was blown away. Then came the Two Thrones, which I liked as much as the Sands of Time (Warrior Within was the best).
Now they've taken new ideas into consideration. Each one looks astoundlingly great. THE GRAPHICS ARE NOT CELL SHADED!!! It's called "illustrative style." The one on one fighting likes intense, especially while using the environment as weapon. The platformimg is top notch. It's never looked better.
Prince of Peria for the win!!!!!
And to the people who are saying 2 on 1 fighting looks dumb, start watching the videos. These creatures actually have history. And what did the Sand Monsters have in their history? Nothing! Ahriman turns these professional fighters into the monsters.
***SPOILER ABOUT HUNTER***
The Hunter was once a Prince, and a professional Hunter. One day he was wishing he could hunt humans and Ahriman granted him his wish. Since then he has been the Hunter, hunting humans. And he has a new enemy. The Prince of Persia.

Me tooI just can't get into this series, I don't know why. I didn't complete the first one and had no interest in the following games.
Inditra
Same here, but this one looks like enough of a re-invention to finally get me interested.
i liked sands of time but i didn't like the other pop games and why are they making the latest pop game cel shaded.sanpreet8
Same here I enjoyed Sands of Time the rest got a little boring for my taste. I feel like Cell Shaded graphics often give kind of a cheap looking feel to a game ofcourse when done well it can be badass but I would have rather had a more realistic prince then a cartoony one! but that just my oppinion
These games have never really seemed to be anything special to me and i dont think this one will be any different.Gamer-28
Yeah i can say that seeing your games Collection. Go play your **** Pokemon or Naruto!!
