With all of the great titles pumping out on the PS3, I have only finished CoD4 and Resistance. That's about it. It's like I get into a game and a new one comes out that grabs my attention! I had this same problem with the PS2. (still want to finish God of War and GoW2) It's like I am swamp with games. But that's not a bad thing, it's just means that there are so many great games to dive into! :) So how about the rest of you people? Do you finish games or just keep buying new ones and get behind with your library? I keep telling myself to slow down on buying games...but heck, there are so many great titles!!!

That's why you don't buy more than one game at a time...well unless there's a good deal on them.:D

I only buy games if I finished all the games that I own or if I'm tired of them.

Yeah, I try to limit on the games I buy. But there are those 'must have games' that everyone is talking about. Wouldn't be so bad if some of these games are lame or something. But I get sucked in every-time! Maybe I am a compulsive obsessive game buyer?? LOL :)

I really don't see why I should buy a new game when I'm still enjoying an 'old' game. Saves me money too. :D

Just finish what you already have, maybe by the time you finish them, those most wanted games might have dropped the price;)

This is the case for me, too. I was actually really proud that I finished AC yesterday and not because it's hard. Before AC the only game I finished (I saved all the citizens and got all the view points too) was GH III on easy. Games keep coming and I just don't have the time to play them all. I'm 3/4 the way through NG Sigma, 3/4 the way through R&C Tools, Oblivion no where close, Uncharted got through first couple chapters. I also have many games on the Wii that I haven't finished either.

I always do that, especially with the FF series. Number 7 I beat after awhile, but number 8 and 9 I didn't got to the last disk, but later on I used my friends saved file to beat it with his, lvl 99 vs. my lvl 75-90 chars. 10 was too easy and 12 I stopped, but forced myself to finish.

I have yet to finish assassins creed, CoD 4, and Mass Effect and i believe thats it for now. Mass Effect is toboring to finish, AC is fun, i like the story and running around, but its repetative, and a spot in CoD 4 pissed me off so I stopped, haven't played online much really either even though I love it. Same with Resistance and warhawk, i love them, but just don't play anymore.

Also, I didn't finish lair (and no not b/c of the controls) or Oblivion. I love playing games, I just really don't care to beat them. Its just an ending to a story, if I care I'll youtube it, otherwise I just play games to play them.

Well, I went back to FF8 and promised myself that I will only devote my time on that game. Was half way through and enjoyed it.But Call of Duty 4 came out and I just had to check it out. Now I am hearing great things about AC.

It's the story of my life.

I have CoD 4, Ratchet & Clank, Assassin's Creed, Crysis, Zelda DS, Bioshock, Orange Box, Command & Conquer 3, and others I'm sure. I've only finished CoD 4. Then there are the other games that are out that are great, like Mass Effect and Uncharted. Ugh.

I figuren it will all work out in January, February when it's cold and the release calendar is thinner.

I agree with you. In fact, I don't mind when developers delay their games. It's a win/win situation for us. We have time to play the games that are already out, and games like GTA 4 and Haze will be released with better quality. Not only that, we have time to play the games that are released now. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to have tons of great games come out at once!

I almost believe the short games like CoD4 and HS may not be that bad. If a game is fun and short, then I am more likely to finish the game. I am the type of person who enjoys finishing a game. Gather the full story.

Don't get me wrong, I love the long games like Oblivion, but I find it hard to finish games that are long. Finding myself getting half way through, then checking out a new game. Long epic games are great, but only if you have the time to finish them. I enjoyed CoD 4 cuz I did finish it and was a great story. Like reading a book, if I have started a game but haven't played it a year or so...feel I need to start over. I have many great games in my collection that I haven't touched in two years. This goes for the PS2. Like God of War 1 & 2, I would love to check out all the battles.

But then a killer game comes out on the PS3 that I am dying to get my hands on. A game that pushes technology to the next level.

But thanks to the people who have posted their oppionions on this forum....Thought I was getting carried away on buying new games without completing others. Like buying a book and reading it half way enjoying it to find yourself buying another book! Arggg.....
