An impossible but awesome idea!!!

I was thinking just imagine how awesome it would be if every year the PS3 and the 360 sat down and had like a trade with exclusives where they would sit down and negotiate what system exclusive they would let be published on another system in return for another game like say PS3-GoW3 for 360-Gears of War for example i think this would not only be better for gamers but it would also be interesting to follow on sites like this and in general to see what could be coming our way.

Sadly i know this wont happen due to different publishers/developers and possibly even due to certain performance issues on a system when crossing over im sure there are alot more reasons to, but if there wasent do you think this would be a cool thing to see happen?

Sorry but this isn't a good idea to me. I prefer to keep it the way it is otherwise we would be purchasing systems just to play entirely the same games. I like exclusives. Plus, there has to be a reason to go out and purchase a specific system for certain exclusives orelsethere wouldn't be much of a gaming market in terms of variety of platforms.

Not impossible, but highly unlikely. NOW, what I want to see is a SUPER SMASH BROS of all 3 consoles' exclusive characters: Banjo, Gears of war guy (marcus pheonix?), master chief, Conker, girl from perfect dark, cole (infamous), ratchet, clank, daxter, jak, sly, nathan drake, super meat boy, commander video, limbo guy, splosion man, and the rest of Ninty's characters (smash bros characters). That would be AWESOME! Come to think of it, it's possible, because they can decide to produce it on mid-ground platform, which is the PC (although microsoft would have more leverage here, it's still a good mid-ground platform), and not have unfavourable sales for one company just b/c their platform's features (better online, controller, etc) are better. I want to see that so much :(glitch2424
