It's not a challenge I just want to know what game are you so confident with in delivering the experience you are after, or have done so in the past. For me it has to be The Last Guardian, I know it will deliver and I don't need any review to tell me that. Usually majority of the games I buy are based on reviews *gasp* even MGS4 was but that's just a safety measure because I knew Kojima was going to deliver an epic title.
Modnation Racers. The Last Guardian. Fallout New Vegas. Red Dead Redemption. Metal Gear Solid Rising. The Lords of Shadow. - I have no doubt that these games will be good if not amazing.
I did that one time with FF13 and Gow3. I had both pre-ordered months before release. GOW3 turned out to be fine, but after a few hours of FF13 i wanted my money back. From now on ill just wait for a review before i buy it. Also for a price drop, since new games drop as much as 20% in price after a few weeks .
Whenever Kingdom Hearts 3 and a Twisted Metal game for PS3 are released. Those are games I will buy without a single review. Since those are two of my favorite Playstation series.
Well B's been out for a while... can't say there are any that I have as much confidence in as B... oh! Except for Kamiya's next project, and possibly Vanquish.
Metal Gear Solid Rising and Dead Rising 2 are the only 2 games in the near to sorta near future I know about or even care about for the PS3... or any system for that matter. No I take that back, Gears of War 3 and Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker as well. Hopefully Persona 5 will be announced at E3.
Red Dead Redemption and The Last Guardian are basically sure hits.
Actually more since I already pre-ordered Mario Galaxy 2, Alan Wake, Crackdown 2, Modnation Racers, and LA Noire. I'll also pre-order Beyond Good & Evil 2 and Infamous 2 when a release date is set.
All the games i have are the ones i wanted. I could careless about someone else's opinion. Most likely the next guitar hero and dj hero 2. Not sure what other games are coming out this year.
Last Guardian. I mean I'll probably check out reviews a bit but even if no reviews come out I would still buy it. Same goes for Naughtydog games and Level-5 games.
Fallout: New Vegas. It it's anything like Fallout 3 I'll love it.

I'm not familiar with the old Fallout games, but it seems like a cross between the two. They said they're bringing a lot of the old stuff back, but it looks like it plays like Fallout 3 anyhow.
I'm looking forward to these (new to me) features...
I buy most of my games without looking at reviews, because only I know if I will like a game or not as I am not a follower that thinks that because of some so-called professional review/reviewer said a game is either good or bad decides for me to get a game or not. I usually look at videos and play demos and that is what helps me to decide to get a game or not, and so far my own judgement has worked out great for me.
