Hey, googled abit and it seems it is a quite known and common problem with older PSP's that after a while the Analogue stick is starting to goe rogue and messing things up.

My question would be:

Most of the games I play I don't need it, so if I open the PSP and remove the stick will that solve the problem that everything is moves without me wanting to have it moving in games or does it not help because the contacts are the main problem?

Thx for answers and ideas how to fix the problem :)

That probably won't change anything as it is most definitely a problem with the wiring. I had a similar problem with my directional-pad. If your warrarnty is not void yet, than you can send to Sony to fix it.

I opened my PSP up and stuck a screwdriver under it. I think I loosened something up 'cause it works fine now :)

sounds like all the times i messed with my psp "under the hood" the only difference is it didnt EVER fix anything and I always left with more dust under the screen and problems to the point i'd just scratch my head in confusion
