And the best demo goes to... Bioshock.

I was shocked. I had played it on the 360 at a friends house and thought it was cool and all, but it was a more brief time to play than a demo and didn't get a chance to really grasp it. So I downloaded the demo for the PS3. To my surprise theres more depth to this game than I had anticipated. Getting the trip down to Rapture and entering it really opened my eyes to how amazing it is, and the excellent push into the game play along with a decent amount of action and progression, it gave me the right amount of game play to say that it indeed looks like a game I want to play.

Best multi-player demo goes to Battlefield BC though.

I played/beated it on the PC and it still qualifies as one of the best FPS games imo I have played in a good long while. Not only would the demo be worth it (didn't bother, as I've already played/beaten it) but the game in general is just awesome. Play it, buy it, enjoy it.

I think I'll have to redownload/install. When I'd tried running it, it pretty much stopped in video at
the second part of the cutscene when you first open your eyes within the water and have to swim your way out
. Then when I rebooted the PS3, it started getting glitched graphically. I basically had to reboot, quickly switch over to something else in the xmb then highlight the demo icon and delete it right away. :( But for anyone that happens to have played both platforms' demos, is it any different from the already established 360 and Windows demo's?

You mean you were BIO-shocked!

...

....

....

Anyway, I had this game on my radar for a while when I heard it was coming to PS3 but I'm just to obsessed with LBP Beta, Fallout 3 and whatnot.

I am not going to get this game anytime soon but I will surely pick it up down the line.

I think I died about 10 times in the demo , if that is a good representation of how the game is ..... I might just stay away from it.

What difficulty did you select? I selected the 2nd one from the top (Ive played other shooters before) And I was close to dying a few times but I used circle button to replenish my health.

I've played the demo.

I'll be getting LBP, Eternal Sonata, and Bioshock.

Personally, I freaking love the Eternal Sonata demo more than anything else. Now I can't stop thinking about it.

Bioshock's opening was legend.

The eerie music that played as you floated through Rapture's "skyline" was fantastic.

I think the demo was great and I'll definitely get it when it comes out.

A lil off topic, but something I found funny. People tend to rave about how AMAZING the water is in this game. I thought it was pretty mediocre to be honest. When you first get control and have to swim to the entrance, the water moving up against objects didn't break along the edges. It was as if the objects weren't there. When the water pressure is too great and the air tight doors start bulging, the water spraying through the sides should look like a high pressure spay, but it doesn't. Water pouring down through leaking ceilings looks no more impressive than any other game. If you use a sink, or flush a toilet, its as bad as a PS1 effect.

I know Take 2 hired a team specifically for the water effects, but I think they should keep that info to themselves as its rather underwhelming. Scripted water effects should look better and have looked better than this in games that didn't even brag about it.

Still though the games seems great and I cant wait to play it.

Agreed. Immersive beyond most.
