I agree. when I used to watch G4 a lot of it seemed ridiculous to me and I bet it hasn't changed much... and since I don't even know what xplay is I'll let it slip by me. Gamespot and IGN are my preferred reviewers as I almost always agree with them

I kind of find Adam Sessler one of the best gaming journalist of are time he seems really knowledgeable and quite smart.

Plus when you check all the big sites where it says what other critics say Xplay always seems to be on that list so some one in the gaming business must agree or like him. But to my knowledge its because he has a huge fan base including me I respect his reviews.

Personally I just go with my gut feeling on games, I don't listen to reviews. I see you do the same thing, very rare to find these days.

You need to realize that Adam and Morgan are not the only people who actually review the games now. They have plenty of interns that they can have to play, score, and write the review of a game for. Then they give the review to their writers, they put in the stupid jokes, and finally Adam or Morgan narrorate the review. And also if you notice, he never actually says "I" or "me" when speaking of playing the game. He always says "we."

Anyone who said Crysis sucked in any way of the context I will never listen to... thats just me... because that game was up to par with one of the best games of all time with its state-of-the-art graphics engine and features ... all that and a great story and gameplay?! Hoooahh! (air Force sorry lol)

-Enemy AI has trouble with invisible foes

-Uninspiring level design

-Occasional graphical and physics glitch

-Requires a hefty computer set-up

-Few multiplayer options

-Terrible story

If u watched todays show,he does say the he personally had higher hopes for the game

Considering that this game was never considered a "must have" by me, I couldn't care less.

If it scored 0/10 or 10/10, I'd have the same perception of this game: not a must have.

Wow after watching those videos who would listen to this guy... not only that he sounds like a retard in his sporadic lectures on his review of the game

i am with green goblin on this one. no matter what the scrore i wouldnt have owned it. the game looks a bit uninspred and not at all my type of game. so all in all who cares!

ign is known for biased reviews look at heavenly sword for example its a 7, and its one of the best ps3 games available, i am not trusting ign at all lol... go to gametrailers its much better :Drealistic44

example: it gave R&C a 9.4, Sigma a 9.3, Resistance a 9.1, UTIII a 9.0, Uncharted a 9.1, Folklore a 9.0, etc

I'm boycotting this game and the dev for truly selling out. Freaking copying sell outs who can't just create an original IP, destroying all the hard work they already did just to create a GeoW clone all for the possibility of higher sales being a cloned game. **** I was looking so forward to the original concept of Dark Sector. Never heard of XPlay.. IGN gave it a 7.7.. thats not a bad rating! Big difference.. one gives 77% and the other gives 40%.

i will have to wait for GS review rebfore making my final decision to buy the game or not.joeychew

Dark Sector bought front page ad space on GS, therefore, the review will be overly positive.

Well,

Kane and Lynch was bloated all over on GS, but look how that review turned out.

I liked Kane and Lynch wasn't that bad of an game, but I have a few minor things that I got fed up with.

Hopefully Dark Sector will get a okay rating, I'm not into the whole reading the review type thing, but I'm pulling for a 8.
