So I got off work today and went to buy Final Fantasy: Crisis Core. The Gamestop near my house was sold out, so I called around to various stores. Finally, I found a Gamestop that had ONE copy left, and they told me they couldn't hold it for me. So I went a little out of my way to get it, no big deal. I get there, and the clerk hands me an open copy, saying I'm getting the "display" copy. He opens it up briefly, shows me the instruction manual is in good shape, etc. I get home, excited to play, and find out the clerk gave me Final Fantasy Tactics. :| And the store had closed. Why can't getting a good game be easy? ;)
oh dude that sux they conned you. go back tomorrow and tell them you wanted crisis core. he cant say anything about it being open cuz it was a display copy. didn't you notice the cover when you got it?
That really does suck. I once got home after buying some new and used games there, only to find the used cases were all empty. But, ive also bought a used Xbox and PS2 there before and both systems had a game in it. :)

That's weird. You'd think they'd check the system before selling it.
Thats ok one time I was in gamestop and I saw Socom FTB 1 used for $15 so i picked it up. Got home and found out that they gave me a demo disk. I took it back but they didn't have socom so i got daxter instead

The game case is for Crisis Core. Only the disc, which I looked at briefly in the store is FFT: Lions. But the most noticeable part of "Final Fantasy".

Thats Ok to. Once i went to get god of war, and god of war 2, when i got home i found the cases empty!!!!!!!!!!
No game! No Manual! I got them back though, it still sucked though.
man that sucks FFT:WotL is a great game and so is FF: CC, hope you get it fixed. USually dont shop retail anymore buy online is much better it's just waiting for you game to ship that blows.
That does suck dude. But take it from me, next time you should reserve it like I did, and I was guaranteed a copy. I did the same thing when I got God of war chains of olympus, I reserved it. It only asks for a minimum of 5 bucks. :)
