Another EB Games story, with a twist!

Ok, I just got back from EB Games to get a copy of R6V and this is what happened. I called in yesterday to see if they got R6V in and the guy said they did so I planned to go get it today. So I go up to the counter and he says that all of the copies that they had were pre-ordered. So I'm pretty pissed at this point and then he checks the list of preorders and notices that one of the employees had pre-ordered a copy. He then says, "Screw him, he's the one who probably didn't tell you that they were pre-ordered copies anyway." and he sells it to me! So I'm happy, and then he starts talking about Lair and LBP and he showed me some awesome Rock Band info to boot! It just goes to show you that not all EB/Gamestop employees are PS3 haters! Oh and it was an EB Games in Northeast Kansas if you were wondering!

I got my PS3 from the Sony Store in Manhattan, so they had to be nice.

My EB Games in N.E. Pennsylvania has never been fanboys. They simply ask what console you have and suggest deals they have coming up for that console.The_Rick_14

You have got to be kidding me... I live in NE Pennsylvania , Bucks County to be specific and all you will find are fanboys at these stores...

I'm not joking. I go to the EB Games in the Viewmont Mall near Scranton. They're some pretty cool dude for video game store employees. lol

yeah the dudes at my gamestop here in oregon are pretty chill. whenever i buy a ps3 game they never give me any crap about it, they just tell me to enjoy the game because they can't afford to.

There are some d-bags out there though that are fanboys...

i got my vegas today from eb too. for some reason it was a girl working there which i have never seen and she was actually cute (great a$$). her being cute isn't the wierd part, it was the fact that she was cute, and we had a 15 minute conversation about lair and heavenly sword, she knew everything about them i was impressed, talk about a bomb gf

lol. You should have just checked on the internet. In case you still don't know the release date, it's July 3. I've had that game preorded for a while now. I can't remember whether or not I bought the CE or the regular edition. It doesn't really matter though. I'll be happy either way.

I'm in NEPA also and I've never had a good day going to eb or gamestop for a game or PS3.

I don't have a ps3 but i like these EB stories. Here in Australia everyone in eb is pretty nice, I bought MGS2 and the guy at the counter was like a good game that one and they're just really nice people. but i have an eb games sotry about my friend, he was about to buy bully for the 360 when he was about to grab it this kid punches him in the head and says "You ain't getting that i am" the bastard
