Thought I would ask. I have been checking the news sites regularly (GS, IGN, etc), but haven't heard anything. Any more news on whether or not PS3 gamers will ever see the DLC?

Nothing yet so far. I wish they would provide any type of feedback or even if all the DLC will be collected into a GotY edition or something. I have the game for PC but their handling of this issue is still ticking me off.

I doubt the Ps3 will get, but if it is annouced that would mean they figured out how to get the others too.

Given the current status of other DLC, combined with Bethesda's utter confusion as to how to correct their PS3 issues, I wouldn't get my hopes up. Even if it DOES come out, the probability of success isn't very high. I understand it's a "great game", but for the life of me, I don't get PS3'ers dedication to the company. Not one bit.

That's not an airline I would be buying tickets on. No-Sir.

I almost hope they don't release the DLC on the PS3. There's no way they will be able to put them on the PS3 without making the game incredibly unstable. My file size has accumulated to about 9.5 MB and it's stuttering more frequently than it has before, and I've experienced more freezes. I've re-installed the game and it seems to have helped, but large file sizes with past Bethesda games on the PS3 have had bad results. I can't play my Fallout 3 or New Vegas files without them freezing roughly every hour in addition to horrible frame rate issues and whatnot. On their own, the games have been playable, but add DLC to them and the game quickly starts going to ****. It's too bad because I've enjoyed Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Skyrim a lot. PC just isn't a viable option for me. I just hope I get to enjoy the true greatness of another Fallout or Elder Scrolls game on the next gen Playstation. So really just to sum it up, I think it's unlikely that the PS3 will ever see Skryim's DLC, but even if that does happen I don't think I'd buy it because they seem overpriced and it will most likely just screw up the game more.

I wouldn't count on it. Given Bethesda's history of PS3 development, and specifically the state they released Skyrim, I think it's clear where their priorities lie.

I'm surprised people who have the game on PS3 even want the DLC anymore. I never really had issues in my 150 hour save file and I absolutely loved the game but the way they handled the situation for those who did have issues and continue to do so with the DLC should prevent all ps3 owners from supporting downloadable content from Bethesda.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Skyrim myself I'm just ticked on how they've handled the DLC for the PS3.:)

Even I feel this way, though I own Skyrim for PC. But the way Bethesda acts here is really the king, oh, the emperor of how to NOT handle your fanbase.

The only redeeming for them from this bad reputation would be if they're going to release the DLC for you for a lowered price or even at least one for free at all.

That won't happen, maybe PS+ subscribers might get it for free or a discounted price, but I can't see if being any cheaper, reasoning is if it does eventually come out on PS3 then by that point they'd have put a considerable amount of more effort into it than any other platform.

Same for me, but they're still screwing us over with not releasing DLC, and you shouldn't support them by purchasing it if it does come out.

I personally haven't had issues with my version but the way they are handling DLCis really unprofessional.

I would love to play the new content myself but just like original Fallout 3 DLC which was unplayable for me, (The core game was fine) I won't be purchasing it until its fixed, if that even happens.

It surprises me how the core game works but DLC somehow becomes an issue.. Either way, they shouldn't release the game if they're not capable of making it run properly.

Strange, I have had no problems with my copy of Oblivion or Skyrim. Of course, I started long after the patches were released... Still and all, I had no interest in the DLC. there is an unbelievable amount in the core game as it is. And granted, Fallout 3 GOTY had way to many bugs (though it is still one of my favorites...I like post-apocalyptic games) .
