So I am collecting every RE made for all three playstations but I have a 40 gb. Is there any chance of the BC like it was rumored to of happened or did they confirm it will NEVER happen? Im collecting them just for the sake of having them all, not necessarily playing them. If I ever want to though, I dont want to buy a ps2 and then they release some emulation software that allows my PS3 to do so.
no the 40G doesn't have BC.... its pretty much like the new 80GB but with less space.SoNin360
im aware it doesnt I was wondering if they have confirmed that it never will be able to or if the rumor floating around saying that they will develop emulation software to allow it to run PS2 games later on down the line was still....well floating around

i mean im sure its possible its possible on the 360 due to emulator software bieng downloaded in updates. SO sony might do that in a year or two when the ps2 dies out
