any body playing ps3 on a standard monitor? with a device 1080p?

here is the link http://www.x2vga.com/product plz tell me any body was used this device? is it good for a monitor? i have a 26 inch monitor and i am thinking about connecting to this device to the monitor for ps3 becuz i want to play games on 1080p is it clear ... plz tell me about this device it is perfect for monitor ? for playing games on 1080i or 1080p plz check the link sorry for my english im from middle east ... thank u

Cool device... And your answer is yes... You connect the component cables to the device and out a VGA cable to your monitor... The device basically converts the signal from component to VGA so you can connect it to your monitor. I don't know if you'll be able to play in 1080i/p because I don't know what monitor are you talking about. But other than that it looks fine.

If you wanna know if you can play in 1080p, please post a link to your monitor and I'll be happy to help you.

The best thing is if your monitor has DVI and is HDCP compliant is to buy a HDMI - DVI cable like me and then connect up your audio to speakers. I have heard some horror stories about that device

Yup, that's right. I'm just waiting for him to post his a link to his monitor, so I can suggest a better solution.
