Any Decent RPGs Out???

Im Looking For a new rpg, preferably jrpg that is story driven. I have played Folklore and liked it and i have oblivion. Is there any others? I dont mind if they are mediocre, just as long as they have a good story. Thanks

Oh and also is MGS4 a kind of RPG in terms of story? Or is it just a typical shooter storyline e.g space marines, big guns, rubbish story.

There's always Oblivion... but then again, that's not really a proper RPG.

MGS isn't a shooter and it's story is anything but generic. I don't really understand why you asked if it had an RPG style story though. If you were asking if it involves a cliche plot where a young teenage boy saves the world and gets the girl then no, it doesn't :P.

If you looked at my post it says i have oblivion lol also i asked if it had a rpg syle plot because it is japanese so it could be a similar storytelling to jrpgs.

MGS is definitely not a RPG and there aren't any others available on the PS3.

Your best bet is PS2 RPG's....there are 100's.

Or, Lost Odyssey and Mass Effect if you own a 360.

MGS is a Stealth Action game. It's not a shooter in the same way that Splinter Cell and Hitman aren't shooters. Just because a game features guns or shooting mechanics doesn't make it a shooting game.
