Any difference between guitar controllers?

Ok I'm getting GH5. I have no instruments at the moment. I dont want GHWT. So the best thing to do is buy the Rockband band in a box as I want more than just a guitar.

But my question is what is the quality of the instruments with the Rockband band in a box. And do they work well with GH5? Mainly the guitar?

I can't quite answer your question as I don't have any RB instruments, but I still use the wired guitar from GH 2 for all of my RB and GH needs, so I'm sure you'll be able to cope...
