Very deep turnbased strategy rpg's. Hilarious sense of humor ("Long Bow - Its not really that long" "Broad Sword - I worked very hard on this please buy it!"

NCAA Football in July and Madden 09 in August

WHOOO DISGAEA!! Finally an RPG exclusive!! Its gonna be a day one purchase for me too. I wonder what is gonna be so special about it since it was made on PS3 exclusively. :shock:Zidaneski

Ha, I don't think very much, just a series that Sony luckily held onto as an exclusive so far. From what I see, it has no astonishing technological achievements, but I'm quite excited about it as well. I was never a Disgaea fan, and I'm actually wonder if you need to play the previous games in the series to understand 3?

Nope, 2 was nothing like 1 (new story, new hell, some kameos from 1), 3 will be nothing like 2 or 1 except for the kameos, and there's a tutorial mission to get you used to it.

Technical achievement? No, it's 2d sprites on an isometric grid :P

Depth achievement? Yes! Disgaea is the deepest gaming series. Period.

For July it's Civilization Revolution, Soul Calibur IV, maybe Heist.

For August it's might be Madden '09, NCAA '09, and Mercenaries 2.
