There's a few good platformers like Trine 2 and Rayman Origins that are fun to play together and I had a lot of fun with LOTR: War in the North but it does have  a lot of bugs some of which are game breaking. Your risk to take.
Local co-op is becoming harder and harder to come by which is a shame but there's still some great games out there if you look hard enough.Â
LOTR Conquest, Soul Calibur 5, Black Ops II, Army of Two, Far Cry 3 (it's kinda short though), Killzone 3, Resistance 2, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, WWE 13', FIFA 13, Motorstorm Apocalypse, Little Big Planet 2 and The Simpsons Game.
For a fighting game, you can't beat Deadliest Warrior Legends - available on disk or via PSN.
Underrated, unappreciated but an excellent two player killfest with great dismemberment and so much blood it looks like the characters entered a ketchup eating contest.
