Yeah I was going to say LittleBigPlanet 2, Rayman Origins (please at least play it! :D), and Mortal Kombat.Chaos_BladezI mean i dnt matter to me. As long as Im playing with my peoples and I'm having great conversation I'm gucci  I haven't played a game with my friends in so long it feels wrong lol
Borderlands definitely. Also, Sydicate, Resistance 2, Ratchet and Clank: All for One would be good choices.
Syndicate is just around the corner and has extensive 4 player co-op. The demo is up so you can see if it tickles your fancy.AcidSoldnerThat's been popped up a lot. . . Well check out.
Yeah I got it. . . I might buy if for my crew. .. Good Idea bro.Haven't tried Payday: The Heist? :-o

this is the PS3 board
But it's a fantastic choice. Completely forgot about that. If he has a decent PC as well as whoever he's looking to play with, it'd be perfrect. Along with Borderlands that is.

Well there is Dead Island to replace it.well its kinda the same game, just with more RPG elements and no split-screen (the best part)
It's a crime that Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World hasn't been mentioned yet. Downloadable sidescrolling beat-'em-ups and arcade button mashers have always been a good pick for couch co-op.
Also, I hate to say it, but the Call Of Duty games. I hate playing online because I hate the fanbase and the way people play, but it's one of the few FPS franchises out there that still realizes the importance of 4 player split-screen.

Plus they are both wildly different in gameplay and mechanics. Personally I prefer Left 4 Dead 2 as a whole to Dead Island, but DI is better for RPG fans who love exploration and stuff.
Not online tho. Castle Crashers is where its at tho. It's a crime that Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World hasn't been mentioned yet. Downloadable sidescrolling beat-'em-ups and arcade button mashers have always been a good pick for couch co-op.

I want to quote this to reiterate it. This is so fun! I don't know if it's couch only, but that's how it should be played anyway.Mortal Kombat has a 2v2 mode.

True, that's why I specifically said couch co-op. Don't know why they never patched it in.
