My wife picked me up the 80g at Circuit City on "Black Friday" for the $499 price. What's good is she was able to talk to the store manager about why why the 40g was being offered with a free controller and a voucher for 5 free Blu-ray movies. My wife said she should get all that stuff too, since she was paying $100 more for the 80g. The manager gave her the mail-in voucher for5 free B-R movies, plus free B-R copies ofthe "300" and "Black Hawk Down" right there in the store, plus the controller, and the 80g came with Motorstorm. So for a little bit of complaining/threatening to go to Best Buy, she got me 7 movies plus a free controller. Give it a try, what's the worst they can say? It's not like last Christmas where you couldn't find a PS3 except on eBay. Tell them you'll take your money and walk if they won't cut some kind of deal.
dude why thye heck are u asking thi now lol. black friday was like 7 days ago. there were soooooooooo many deals. walmart had the 40 gig for 400 with 15 blu ray movies of ur choice. kmart had 40 gig for 320. lol too late now. should have done ur research.
I live in the usa. Thanks for the posts guys but yeah I didnt have enough money to buy anything on black friday unfortunately =/. But got a job recently and will be picking one up as soon as a find a decent deal. If anyone else can help me its much appreciated :).

There was one last Friday at Walmart where you get your choice of PS3 at a teh regular price, with a game of your choice, and 5 blu-ray movies. So if you got the 80 GB package, you got two games and 5 movies(and the console) for the price I paid for the Console and Motorstorm.
