Any good PS3 medieval fantasy games?

Does anyone know of any good PS3 medieval fantasy games which have a good battle atmosphere? I had a look at the game "LAIR", and it was just the type of game i wanted, but the reviews were bad. Aparantly it has really bad controls.

I enjoy modern war games like resistance and call of duty, but i am looking for a fantasy one that doesn't have the use of guns, because that is more what i'm into. I've never successfully found one fitting that genre, though.

i'd have to say assassin's creed, as that is the most medeval-like game; however, you won't find any fantasy there... just glitches:P

The most solid choice that i can come up with is Oblivion as it has the elements you're looking for. I just don't know if it's the type of game you're interested in though....

Heh, i already have Oblivion. Game of the year edition, in fact, and i love it. I'm looking for a new game to play now, though. Oh, and i was thinking of getting assasins creed as well. I didn't know it had glitches. Are they very bad?Zheph

lol no he didnt mean those type of glitches, its part of the story but i wont spoil it in case you get it

Assassins Creed 1 & 2 (Brotherhood coming)definitely is the best realistic medieval game and my favorite, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is a awesome RPG with a lot of playtime. They should bring out more medieval like games with online free roaming and a nice gameplay ofcourse.

dragon age origins if thats your thing. i havent personally played it but it got pretty good reviews and others seem to enjoy it (im not a wrpg guy is all)
