Any hints on what Uncharted 3 might be about in Uncharted 2? (possible spoilers)

The only thing I thought of was the strange relic in the game, if you've collected it, does have markings on it that aren't seen anywhere else in the story, so maybe that might work, otherwise I have NO IDEA! What I might like to see is a setting maybe in Africa and South America, that would be cool.

The strange relic is from the Jak and Daxter series. I want to see a prequel of some sort.

NO hints that I found....But heres a few ideas that I was thinking off The Desert, Egypt, the tombs of the pyramids...I mean they've done Jungle and blizzards...Desert would be next that or...China, the great wall, and what notStark1177

That's what I was thinking... That'd be a cool place to explore (Egypt that is). Or Africa maybe...

I want a prequel of some sort, Nathan and Flynn or Nathan an Chloe because there seems to be an interesting history with Nathan and Flynn and Chloe. Would like to see an African setting kinda like a Far Cry 2 esque sorta thing, a desert location like Egypt could work I guess but I think an African desert would work so much better because it does have some jungle like what is featured in the first two games so fans of the series would still have some kinda visual link to the first two games aswell as a new desert theme.

Uncharted 3 will definitely not be the last game in the series. Especially considering how much U2 is selling. As long as it brings in as many numbers as it is right now, Uncharted will never end. At least until there's nothing left to chart.

Egypt would very cool. ND could do lots of cool stuff with pyramids, Pharoes and mummies. If they do,involve Egypt I just hope they change up the setting as often as they did in Among Theives. One of the best parts of Uncharted 2 is the constantlychanging locations and seeing the intersting visuals that comes along with that. The search for Atlantis would also be cool. Although I'm sure whatever Naughty God does it will be mind blowing and incredibly difficult to wait for.

Also I hope Chloe and Sully are a big part of Uncharted 3.

and an Uncharted prequal would be great. Sony is releasing and Uncharted prequal motion comic at some point which is something but i want a game.

They are going to make another Uncharted, but there isn't any news on story yet (obviously)

I know that a lot of things come in 3's, but Uncharted doesn't have a overlaying plot, like a war that must end at some point, usually the 3rd act. All Drake does is try to find hidden treasures, which is awesome because there really doesn't seem to be an end nearby. But I agree, Atlantis would be awesome, they haven't really dont any underwater stuff yet so that is a great idea for Naughty Dog to look into.

Later in the game Flynn, when holding a gun to Nate's back as they try to get the walkway to whatever the last area is called, I noticed that when Nate calls Flynn a scoundrel, Flynn retorts "I learned from the best, didn't I?"

Maybe Nate wasn't always the heroic type in the beginning, and wasn't always fair. He may not have double-crossed people as badly as Flynn, but could've taken more share of something that wasn't his. Also, how did he end up working with a scoundrel like Flynn in the first place??

So, what would be cool is maybe a prequel showing Nate's rougher side, who was more concerned about money at the time until something changed his outlook on treasure robbing. Some kind of loss in the family that smartened him up? Who knows

yeah would definitely like to see them do something with pyramids and why theyre aligned with the stars and all that and would like to see parts of china as well...

altogether i want to see an Uncharted 3...but i want to see an Uncharted PSP while im waiting

I don't know of any artifacts having to do with time myself (though I'm sure there are some), but I'd like to see the third game have to do with Elena dying in some way and Drake going on an incredible, emotional journey to find this artifact and change the past. It would bring new story elements to the table instead of the *SPOILERS*"find this treasure, get rich... oh noes, treasure turns people into monsters!"*END SPOILERS* formula we've seen the past two games. It would be interesting, Drake's motivation would be Elena. A tearjerker indeed.

Like previously mentioned I do believe it will be a prequil in terms of Drake's past. There are so many lines in the game hinting to his past relationship with the new characters it would be shocking to me to not see a thief for hire plot.

I think Uncharted is kind of boring after finishing number 2. I would much rather have Dark Cloud 3

I say make a prequel for the PSP and Uncharted 3 be a tuely epic adventure, like Atlantis, or the Garden of Eden, or Troy even.
