Firstly will the PlayStation Network improve it'squality's to the Next-Gen Standards?

I don't have broadband so i can't play Online, i've just heard from friends and other people on this board that the PlayStation Network is not up to standards right now and it needs to improve.

Secondly any ideas on how to improve the PlayStation Network?

in this day and age how do you not have broadband? dial up is almost as expensive, but literally around 700 times slower (to standard DSL)
