I'm not sure. My fans seem to get up to their highest level a lot more lately and they stay there until I turn the system off. It also froze for the first time today. I'm starting to get worried that their might be something wrong.
Nothing wrong for me. My PS3 has been great since the beginning when I first got it, and only froze twice. Its been a year almost, I got it last January.

My fan usually stays on high even though it is in an open room. I don't mind - the fans are just doing their jobs. I haven't had any freezing problems though.
I haven't had any issues with any updates. I find they are all good.
My PS# has frozen once since I dled the update. I'm not entirely sure why, but its only happened that one time... So I would say I've really had no major problems with the update.
For some reason after the update everything on my system seems to run much faster now. I tried a PS2 game and it loaded a lot faster than it ever has. When I go to the PSN it loads much faster along with the information bar that runs all the time (it takes about a fourth of the time to load now).
Yes my PS is **** Since I got the update two days ago I didn't play any games or really use my PS at all but when I played it today it's no longer accepting any kind of discs at all!!! I did everything even a full systems reset which took like 3 and a half hours and deleted everything but the firmwares the only thing still there and I still wont play discs! Is anyone else having similar problems and is there anyway to remove the updates???
