My friend said he is gonna pick this game up on launch along with motorstorm. I just find it strange that noone really talks about it i mean it looks pretty good and although it was on 360 whats stopping it being good on PS3?
It's not a great RPG on any System.. I would tell your friend to wait for Final fantasy XIII or white Knight story both of which look great.. He might want to take a look at Oblivion that's a good RPG and is imporved on the PS3 that's if he doesn't mind RPG's that are not from Japan. Â
The game isn't that bad. At this point, its definitely not worth the full price as it is already a year old on another system. The thing about Enchanted arms is that it is more of a beginners rpg than anything else. Not extremely challenging. In some cases, it looks last gen as well. But its a fun game. Definitely worth a rent. Your friend would probably do well to just buy a PS2 RPG instead.
hm to be honest. i didn't like the visuals and the style of the game at all when i saw the first screens of the 360 version. i don't even care that it is heading to the ps3. i just doesn't appeal to me, don't ask me why...
I am looking forward to this, but I am a RPG nut. HEck I even played the Saga games.... ya... i know.... I intentianally avoided this on 360 as I heard it was on the way to PS3, I may not buy it new, but I will definately pick it up used for $30 or less.
i'd stay away from this game. it's completely awful in my opinion. there's a good handful of rpg's on the ps2 I'd take before ever picking this up for the ps3.

From what I understand it is an update to the 360 version, more gameplay, more hashing out plotlines, couple extra boss fights. Not sure about the visuals though, but it is not a direct port by any means.
