It's not a question of time it's a question of licensing...

Wish Sony would get it sorted personally as there is loads of space in teh sixaxis for rumble :)

BUT I imagine rumble would mess with the motion sensor side of things somewhat.

Yeah its a bummer in my opinion because I liked it, but I think word would be out by now if there was any rumble coming but as of yet I don't think there is. But I believe it'll come in the future once it gets realized how gimmicy and lame motion controllers are. But it's not that much diffrent without the rumble.. I dont miss it as much as I thought I would.. but it's gonna be missed when MGS4 and FFXIII roll around...

I remember on ign it was reported that someone created a control with the six axis and rumble in it without any issues so it is possible thats old news im sure some people around here heard of it... so its really about the licence although even that  has been dealt with my sony because they bought the rights to use it from immersion i think so now its just about development design and announcing it... i think well hear everything by E3 so until than or before ...

E3 isn't that far away now... first year of a revamped E3 too. Maybe we'll see news then.

Seeing as the Sony/Immersion lawsuit was settled and they are now both working together again to make new products for the "Playstation brand" it's safe to say it's only a matter of time, not licensing.

As for Rumble and motion sensing. Checked out the Wiimote yet? That thing is packing both with no issues.
The whole argument that Sony made up about rumble interfering with the motion was made up to try and cover the fact that in reality it was because of the lawsuit.

Yes indeed. Phill Harrison himself said it.

Maybe we will see something on this years E3.
