Im 99.9% sure that its going to have a fee, as i remember reading an article somewhere saying so. Though i havent heard anything on the actual pricing.
I heard it was going to be free.. but if you have to pay count me out on that one.

Seeing how Final Fantasy XI Online had a fee, its highly unlikely that Final Fantasy XIV wont And im guessing you haven't played many mmorpgs, as monthly fee are rather common to the genre.
yeah I dont play MMORPG's either, but if you are to pay this will be a really expensive game in the long run, considering what system you have, game automatic 60 bucks, monthly fee (dont know what the typical price is), Internet connection $20-50, plus membership to online play I.E xboxlive gold....wow

Most mmorpg gamers usually spend less then regular console gamers. If a person buys 1new ps3 game a month, thats 60 dollars per month, or even if its every other month, its still 30, where as the average mmorpg cost 15 per month (and when you play a mmo seriously, its usually the only game your playing atm). Most console game have some sort of online functionality, so internet really isnt an extra fee for mmorpgs compared to other console games and a xboxlive gold account isnt required to play mmorpgs.(tho this being the ps3 forum, i dont understand why it was mentioned)
It'll probably be 10/month like 11 was. Add a couple bucks for each additional character you make. Still not worth it to me though. MMO's can be too addicting and very unhealthy.
