I was thinking of picking this game up and was wondering how it is. I heard that it has a lot of bugs but they have been patched. Another thing I read is that the camera is kind of bad. So for the people that have it can you give me your opions on it? thanks

A lot of the bugs are worked out pretty well.. The camera pans wierdly offscreen a bit sometimes but it honestly doesn't happen often enough to ruin gameplay. I absolutely LOVE this game it reminds me of my days of playing Diablo 2: LoD. Its a great item hunting game and theres a good online community for it at the moment....servers get laggy sometimes but I think it's jst cause its new and they are upgrading them because it seems better now.

The PVM is awesome and the classes are many to choose from...If you enjoy Hack N'Slash and item scouring and killing lots of monsters hoping for that RARE UNIQUE drop then this is the game for you...it's overall a very under-rated game.

I would say it's more like worth $40 haha! but nah it's worth the money it has some of the mose replay value of a lot of games right now...you can play daily online and experience new things every day.....I like to item hunt so I kill the same mobs a lot looking for set peices for armor sets...so i'm on it 3 hours a night doing that haha...It's a really good HackNslash RPG it's the best one to come out since Diablo even the first Sacred was good on the PC I enjoyed it...it's not quite the scale of Diablo series Fanbase wise...but I don't think anything is lol!

I say its worth it...you have endless options and replay value in the classes/builds alone and then the item hunting is very addictive (as D2 was) and very rewarding when you finally get that BIG drop.

Ya I work at a retail store and we had a good ad last week where if you spent over $50 you get $15 back is that dropped my $60 game down to $45...then I used a bonus coupon as well for %10 off video game software so that dropped it another $5 ...and then also used my employee discount of 15% so I ended up getting at at around $35 after taxes.

It has a crazy amount of bugs.. like fallout 3/oblivion have nothing on this game..

You can play up to 4 people online, however only 3 people can use mics at one time, if the 4th turns on their mic then it like mic swaps and the people can only talk to this person then it changes.. so not everyone can talk to each other at once. Amongst other things like the non host will ALWAYS lag, so prepare for a lot of lag deaths.. I could go on like the ridiculousness of freezes and having to listen to your system 3 beep a lot. but the developers are aware of these problems, possible patch would make this game awesome..

But i still play this game nonstop.. it has a very steep learning curve, so at level 1 you better be planning out your characters development to its max level (caps at 200).. one mistake and it will probably end with you restarting a character.. this happened to me a lot like i have put in at least 50 hours (15 restarts) into it already and just started over a minute ago lol.. trial and error till you find out what you like..

It is a grinder but it's not as tedious or it doesn't seem like it, you really aren't farming enemies like how you do in other games like this.. has a bunch of side quests.. looting is fun.. quest log can make you laugh.. lots of easter eggs and weird moments..

overall it is just addicting.. a whole lot better playing with at least one buddy.. since some characters (plus how you leveled up) can devastate mobs of guys within seconds but will get your *** kicked against bosses.. and others can take out the hardest bosses within 14 seconds..

basically if you enjoyed baldur's gate dark alliance, champions ect.. you should get this..

be warned it can annoy you beyond belief but you will keep crawling back lol.. also if you don't like it at first keep playing anyways.. once you learn it, then you can't stop playing..

EDIT - have yet to run into a camera angle problem..

I loved baldurs gate, I might have to wait til they patch it though. I had to many problems with Fallout 3, I had like 3 or 4 quests bug on me which is really annoying especially in the main quest line. So games with bugs and freezes make me cringe a little lol

Ok I loved Baldur's Gate and Champions of Norrath, so how come I have never heard of this game? Does it have offline co-op? How many players (online and off)? And how are the trophies?

Offline is weird for coop.. it seems like the second player can't save their character, which works out because tons of cheating would take place.. 2 players offline, 4 players online.. trophies are the most time consuming that i have come in contact with, but the game is so much fun that you hardly notice.. i am at 31% and have yet to go after a trophy.. all but one you get by just playing the game extensively.. yeah this game is under the radar for most people..

yeah man you don't have to tell me i just lost 5 levels because i didn't save and my game froze lol.. there are a few missions that have known bugs on and on sllver (medium) difficulty the game bugs hardcore if you use a certain character (like you have to delete the save data to fix).. i have encountered more than my fair share of glitches/freezes ect.. but it really doesn't hinder my views on it.. it would be great if it gets fixed but i am so addicted to the game right now it really doesn't matter..

I haven't encountered any bugs yet, but I've only had this game for two days now and it's absolutely addictive.

There is a bug, though where it will let me play custom music in single player but not in multiplayer, which I assume is standard, but every now and then, will switch it around and won't let me play music in single player and only in multi player, lol.

That's the only real bug I've come across, and overall, I'm pretty in love with it.

Also, expect me to be preaching this until the day I die: Sacred 2 > Oblivion.
