im gettin a ps3 soon, and i was wonderin since ut3 is comin out, is there any point of gettin warhawk or resistance? i without a doubt wanted to get resistance, but once i heard of the ut3 news, will it still be played by alot of ppl or is most ppl goin on to UT3?
Resistance=no, WH= yes. The fact that it has a brilliant 3rd person online experience definetly warrants its purchase, I wouls say go ahed and get WH BUT dont flood your ps3 with fps games. Resistance and UT3= resistance bieng neglected lol
Totally different games than UT :? but no. not if you only wanna play one game online, i don't think there's any reason to get them. but if you like some variety in games. i dont see what's stopping you from getting all of them :? that's what i'm doing

umm rent RFOM, wait for UT3, and for $40 get the Warhawk/blue tooth headset deal
id say wait on resistance since it will be a ps3 classic soon enough and will be cheaper... if ur still interested in it by then... but warhawk is a must have...
Both Resistance and Warhawk are great, and even though tons of people will go and play Unreal, it doesn't mean both of those great games will be abandoned. I would wait on Resistance though, because I think it's likely it will drop in price soon. It was a launch title and that was just over a year ago. A greatest hits price will probably hit pretty soon, though don't quote me on it, it just seems likely.
UT3 is great for multiplayer. Resistance is great for single-player campaign and multiplayer. I wouldn't bother with WarHawk if I were you -- just my opinion. WarHawk is ONLINE-ONLY ... there is no single-player experience, which makes it the weakest among these three games.
if you want the game for the multi player, i wouldnt get resistance cuz obviously theres newer better titles out with CoD4 and UT3, and those will hav more players
but warhawk is really different. its not your average shooter so if you want some variety get that. I have it and used to play it a lot but havnt played it since CoD4 came out :o
I have both Resistance and Warhawk and they are both very valuable and are over 25 hours of gaming at least. If you can buy extra games get both because they are truly spectacular games.
Um. Buy resistance. Wait for the price to go down if you have to, but buy it.
It's one of the main reasons i bought a PS3. I used to go over to my friend's house two, three times a week to play RFOM online for hours on end, much to my gf's chagrin. The online play is amazing, and has a huge playerbase.
Warhawk I wasn't too impressed with, but it's almost worth buying for the free bluetooth headset.
Tough choice now. I loved resistance when I first played it. Is it worth getting now, errr probably not due to the fact there are so many good Ps3 games now that look better, and play better. I'd go with UT3, Haze, The Orange Box ect.
If you like single player FPS get resistance. UT3 is focused in multiplayer online play (Resistance also have an excelent online multiplayer option). I don´t have played warhawk, so I can´t give you any advice on this game.

personally i didnt really enjoy warhawk, but many people have said its good, so go for what you want, but i would rent warhawk first along with resistance, and just buy UT3 and possibly CoD4 (havent heard anything bad about CoD4 :))
i never bought resistance but i did finish the entire campaign and its really good...besides we all know that resistance 2 is coming....so buy ut3 and rent resistance...and only if your hungry for more or want the bluetooth headset get warhawk...dont get me wrong warhawk is great but ut3 mulitplayer is much more addictive...i played it and yall will love it
