since mid 2009 most game saves will not work since it will say when you try to load it that it is owned by another PSN account

Yea, I was going to say GameFAQs. I think anyone should be able to use anyone's save data. Lock the trophies, whatever. I just want to play some games I buy for like 15 dollars with everything unlocked.

Not really. Fifteen dollars is not that much and I will get my money's worth regardless. I would have two save files. One with me actually beating the game and the other with everything unlocked for if I wanted to mess around. I just want the option to do so.

fair enough i suppose and $15 is nothing. i personally just like working towards stuff. if its already unlocked then start again its a bit of a spoiler. Thats why i disagree with EA and other where you spend real money unlocking everything. no fun!

yea really. I hate to even look at FAQs. It defeats the whole purposes of the game. to me that's like wasting $15 or however much you spend. Part of the fun is figuring out the stuff yourself. Although some things are made so that the chances of you figuring it out yourself or happening upon it are insanely low.

Games like Just Cause 2 have almost no purpose of beating the missions except for getting money to use so you can buy stuff and upgrade your weapons and vehicles. I would love to have a game like that and be able to use someone elses save files. I beat it and the story was pointless. I had more fun just blowing up things and using the grappling hook to explore.

Yea, that's how it was intended to be. a free roam game where you blow stuff up so you could get money to buy bigger better guns to blow more stuff up. that's why the "story" is only about 20% of the game completion.
