For a long time I'd never played a COD game, and didn't see what the fuzz was about. Then I tried Killzone 2's multiplayer and was hooked. Played MW2 at a friend a couple of weeks ago and had to order the game. It gets addicting. But i see where the other guys are coming from. If you've played games like these for many years, it starts to thin out. I on the other hand, am totally new to online shooters so I'm having a blast.

You should buy it, or at least give it a rent, the campaign and Spec Ops alone will give you 20-30 hours of enjoyment.

buy it cheap, great single player campaign. mulitplayer will wear off if u spent heaps of time in the other cods already.

You could rent if for the single player experience as I doubt this close to black ops no one is going to let you borrow their game.

Yes, I actually bought the game and really enjoyed it instead of just hating on it, it's a good game, and people who always hate on it are just trying to conform to what everyone else (on GS) is doing.

No MW2's multiplayer is terrible...

Get COD4 instead. It's cheaper and way better.

I may be completely off, but I'm picking up on a sarcastic tone... I'm just curious about your position.

Either way, people should always have their own interests in mind, and if boycotting a company grants those people more satisfaction than the satisfaction they derive from using that said company's product(s), then more power to them...

Generally speaking, I find the idea of "abhorrence toward a company because it's powerful that exceeds the desire to use that company's products, especially if the use of those products is something you would normally enjoy" quite silly... but there are people who think that way, and it's no one's place to tell them anything otherwise.

Its worth renting for the epic single player

no reason...black ops looks way better and mw2 is just a mess though fun at times but still a mess..
black ops has all these nice features and BOTS!!
and even though ppl will be still playing mw2 long after black ops is released u will get heaps of ppl playing black ops as well..just wait...

Personally this game has collected more dust that most of the games I own. I would definitely say save your money, there are many better things to waste dough on than this beat old hag.

no bots, but hte spec op mode condenses the single player levels, letting u play co-op and has a nifty high school system. if ur someone who gets addicted to speed runs and high score marks its great fun and doesnt ramp up when u add a friend in.

Rent MW2 knockout single player and warm up online to prepare for Black Ops
